Hope & Homes for Children
Eden Private Staff are proud to support Hope and Homes for Children through a varied and exciting fundraising partnership. This fantastic cause helps provide children with the love and care of a family across eight countries in Eastern Europe and Africa www.hopeandhomes.org
We are helping to establish a Mother and Baby Unit. This unit will provide a safe place for mothers to stay with their new born babies while accessing support from social workers, psychologists and engaging in education, training and employment opportunities. Around the classes, mothers will form strong relationships with their baby, comforting them when they have nightmares and murmuring silly sounds in their ears. It also means that they can offer their child 1:1 attention, building their motor-skills, movement and speech development. This service will be a real lifeline for mothers who have no one to turn to, and who would otherwise be faced with the impossible decision to abandon their child.
We are encouraging our clients to to donate 10% of their loyalty discount to enable us establish “The Mother and Baby Unit” – we will match the 10% our client donate!
