Job Summary: Imagine working in a stunning villa that overlooks one of France’s best beaches in the South of France? This lovely professional couple is looking to hire a hands-on housekeeper who is very proactive and can work unsupervised, this will be an opportunity for you to showcase your experience. The ideal candidate will be very experienced working in luxury homes, who prides themselves on their eye for detail and performing all duties to a very high standard who can keep everything running smoothly daily. This is a hands-on position so you must be comfortable with general cleaning and housekeeping duties. The family’s main home is in Germany, and they have another holiday home in the mountains splitting their time between all three homes, with this property being mostly in the summer for holidays and weekends. The family are in the process of staffing this home and they will be looking for a cleaner who will assist you. A car will be available to use.
General duties:
- Responsible for the cleaning of residence (high- quality furnishing)
- Exclusive laundry care (silk, cashmere etc)
- Errands and shopping (e.g. grocery shopping, taking special clothes to an official laundry store, post office etc.)
- Breakfast preparation and occasional cooking
- Supervision and coordination of craftsmen
- Some Travel to other homes on occasion (Germany and Austria )
Candidate requirements:
- Excellent references from previous employers are required.
- Must have previous housekeeping experience working in luxury homes /HNW/VIP environment.
- Independent and proactive way of working
- Must have experience and confident cleaning high-quality materials (Marble, parkett / slate floor etc.)
- Valid EU passport to work in France.
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work at the weekends and during holiday season.
- Holiday must be taken in parallel with the family.
- Good Cooking skills (e.g. for preparing breakfast and light / basic meals)
- High level of Discreetness, reliability, and responsibility
- Ability to oversee and coordinate the cleaners and tradesmen –
- A good eye for detail
- Fluent English or German language is required.
Accommodation: Staff housing available if required close to the Main home.
Salary: up to 55,200 EUR gross (approx. £47251.20 per annum)
DBS check required at offer stage.
