Job Summary:
This is a lovely long term opportunity for an experienced nanny to join a warm and well-supported family environment caring for three young children — a 3.5 year old boy, a 16 month old girl, and a newborn baby.
The family are looking for a calm, emotionally intelligent, and highly capable nanny who genuinely enjoys working as part of a family team. Mum is at home and not returning to work, meaning this is very much a shared care role with strong support in place, including a long-standing housekeeper and a night nanny.

This is a shared care live in nanny position working closely alongside mum within a relaxed but organised household. The eldest child attends nursery, meaning some days will involve caring for the newborn and toddler, while other days will focus mainly on the newborn, allowing natural downtime within the day.
The family are seeking someone warm, proactive, and organised who can confidently support routines, developmental milestones, and the day-to-day running of the children’s schedules while bringing a calm and nurturing energy to the home.
Although a night nanny is employed, the nanny may occasionally be asked to have the baby monitor during evenings when the parents go out. The children are described as excellent sleepers.
Job specification:
- Supporting morning routines and preparing the children for nursery
- Nursery drop-offs and pickups when required
- Bath and bedtime routines
- Planning age-appropriate activities and outdoor play
- Supporting developmental milestones
- Preparing healthy meals for the children
- Managing naps and sleep routines
- Changing nappies and general nursery duties
- Organising children’s areas and maintaining routines
- Supporting a calm, low-screen-time household environment
- Occasional evening monitor responsibility when parents are out
Candidate specification:
- Warm, calm, and nurturing personality
- Highly proactive and capable approach
- Strong emotional intelligence and organisational skills
- Genuine interest in securing a long-term role within a family environment
- Confident supporting multiple young children alongside parents
- Enjoys outdoor activities and engaging children away from screens
- Confident cooking healthy meals for children
- Driving licence and own vehicle essential
- Pet friendly (family have 2 cats and 2 small dogs)
- Flexible, discreet, and naturally supportive within a shared care setting
Accommodation: Self contained annex – bedroom with ensuite, kitchen, living room – very private
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
