Fabulous new position in Putney for someone looking for either live in or live out to join a lovely family!
The family of located in Putney is looking for a live-in or live-out Nanny PA to start in May 2023. The nanny would have sole charge care of two boys aged 13 and 10 years from the start of the job. Hours of work would be 7.45am – 7.45pm (7pm on a Friday) and ideally with two babysitting evenings midweek. Both parents have busy jobs, so the nanny needs to have a flexible attitude and be happy to muck in.
The suitable candidate would be experienced nanny with a strong character who is intelligent, robust, energetic and active would suit the family best. The candidate would ideally have experience with children from 10 years up to 16 years and would be confident helping the boys with all aspects of their homework. As a result, the nanny needs to be fluent in English (including writing). A driver is required and an automatic car is provided for driving the children to school midweek and wherever required during the holidays.
The family would like a naturally tidy person and someone who is happy to home-cook meals for the children.
The family have a second home in Hampshire which they go to every weekend, so there will be more privacy during the weekends.
General duties:
- All standard nanny duties, including washing and ironing of children’s clothes and bed linen, cooking of children’s meals and tidying up after children
- Taking children to and from school and happy to drive them to local activities, such as clubs plus taking them to doctor/dentist etc
- Supervising homework and arranging play dates, buying birthday presents for children’s friends, and helping with completing school requests, such buying school uniform, helping with school projects etc
- When children are at school, if time allows, doing the odd family errand (e.g. dry cleaners every now and again, collecting items from post office periodically), picking up food from supermarket/butcher
- Ordering online food for family’s cooking each week. Unpacking family food delivery
- Babysitting twice a week (ideally) midweek
Salary:
Daily – £55,000 to £65,000 gross per annum
Live in – £40,000 to £45,000 gross per annum
Accommodation: Large room – Double bed, sofa, TV, chest of drawers and wardrobe provided. The room has full wifi connectivity. Any other requirements to be discussed with right candidate – e.g. there is space for a fridge if required. There is also lots of storage space available. Bathroom shared with one of the boys
Candidate requirements:
- Must be a driver – car provided for work purposes
- Someone who is fun, wants to get involved with the boys and is energetic
- Proven track record of longevity and looking for a long term position
- Must be a fluent English speaker and confident supporting the boys with homework if required
DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
