Experienced permanent Nanny required for a baby-focused, Monday–Friday position in Wimbledon, with primary responsibility for a 6-week-old baby girl within a shared-care family environment.
A returning Eden family in Wimbledon are looking for a warm, experienced Nanny to join them on a permanent basis, with the role primarily focused on the care and development of their 6-week-old baby girl. Mum will be around and this will be a shared-care position, so they would like someone comfortable working collaboratively with a parent while also being confident taking responsibility for baby and using their own initiative. Excellent baby knowledge is essential, with the role naturally developing as baby grows through the different stages of her first year. The family also have a 4-year-old daughter, but the primary focus of this position will be the baby. They are looking for someone calm, reliable and communicative who can become a consistent long-term presence within their family.
Job Specification
- Primary day-to-day care of the 6-week-old baby
- Supporting feeding, sleep and age-appropriate routines
- Planning activities to support baby’s development and milestones
- Supporting the introduction of solids and weaning when appropriate
- Preparing healthy meals and food for baby as she grows
- Working collaboratively with Mum in a shared-care environment
- Supporting with the older child when required
- Usual nursery duties relating to the children
- Flexibility for occasional additional hours
Candidate Specification
- Excellent baby experience and strong knowledge from the early months onwards
- Good understanding of infant development and milestones
- Strong weaning knowledge
- Warm, calm and reliable
- Confident working in a shared-care environment
- Excellent spoken English and strong communication skills
- Proactive and able to use initiative
- Health-conscious with a good understanding of nutritious food
- Non-smoker
- Flexible and looking for a long-term position
