With an impressive childcare career spanning 32 years, Irene has gained a wealth of experience caring for babies and young children. With an extensive Nanny career starting in 1986, Irene supported families with children across each development stage from newborn through to school age, gaining an in-depth knowledge of the important developmental milestones. Taking a short break from professional childcare in 2015, Irene set up and managed a successful events company. Missing the joy of working with babies, Irene returned to Maternity Roles in 2017 and continues to grow her childcare portfolio caring for single newborn babies.

With a blend of extensive Nanny and Maternity experience, Irene supports her hands on knowledge with a nationally recognised Maternity Nurse qualification and is passionate about remaining up to date in her field. With experience caring for babies with colic and reflux, and able to support breast and bottle feeding, Irene has a natural skill of building parent’s confidence and is always on hand to offer useful advice and guidance in a sensitive manner. Able to develop relationships with ease, Irene’s positive and loving nature works perfectly to enhance and develop parent’s confidence with all aspects of baby care. Sensitive to the family dynamics, Irene is able to balance the varying needs of the family and expertly supports the transition of welcoming a new baby. With a genuine love of guiding and supporting baby’s through key developmental milestones, Irene considers it a privilege to be part of this journey with parents and their newborn.
