Summary

L is a fabulously engaging nanny candidate who is full of energy and passion for her role working with children! She comes across as upbeat and energetic with a really positive attitude. L originally went into childcare as she loved being around children and it felt like the obvious choice and a natural progression for her after finishing her studies. She spent ten years as a nursery nurse and then moved on to become a nanny.

L loves the freedom and spontaneity of being a nanny to be able to tailor activities to her charges specific interests and needs. She describes herself as outdoorsy and creative, loves painting and messy play. L has a great bank of activities up her sleeve from her nursery days and also a good knowledge of the EYFS. She believes in boosting children’s self-esteem which comes across in her approach.

L acted as SENCO in nurseries and has worked with autistic children and those with ADHD previously, so is confident working to complement children’s needs. L is currently looking for a new daily nanny position. She would love to find a four-day position but is flexible to offer five days for the right family. L is confident taking on children from six months old. She is ideally situated near a train station to be able to travel easily to south west London and can consider walking to locations in Croydon.
