Live-out Nanny

Location: Surrey/West London

Reference: ELC1136602

Summary

L is a confident, honest and responsible nanny who really impressed during interview. She has over 15 years’ experience working with families in childcare roles. L is a hard worker and has always been able to find work through word of mouth and recommendations. She has always loved working with children and is highly motivated to be a positive influence on those in her care. L works hard to encourage them to reach their full potential emotionally, intellectually and physically. She is a strong communicator which has enabled her to develop strong, constructive relationships with both children and parents.

L was always interested in working with children and started babysitting from a young age. Growing up, she spent a lot of time with a family member who has cerebral palsy, and this influenced her decision to study for a Learning Disability Nursing degree. As well as all regular nanny duties, L has extensive experience working with children with additional needs, both physical disabilities and learning difficulties. This includes children and teenagers with Downs syndrome, cerebral palsy, challenging behaviour, ADHD, autistic children and premature babies. The skills she has honed over the years include manual handling, hoisting, communication using Makaton and tube and PEG feeding.

L is now looking for a new permanent position. She is committed to finding a long-term role with a family ideally in the Surrey or West London areas. After meeting L, Eden believe she would be an asset to any family. With her education and experience, L is definitely a candidate you do not want to miss!
