With 14 years’ experience to date working within professional childcare, Elka’s knowledge covers a range of ages from newborn to teenagers, including the care of multiple children of varying ages and twins. Having supported families as a Nanny since 2005, Elka obtained her Maternity Nurse Practitioners qualification in 2016 and is now looking to transition to Maternity Nurse Roles supporting both first time parents and growing families in the UK and Overseas.

Demonstrating proven knowledge of supporting newborns through each stage of their development, Elka loves to share her knowledge with parents. Confident to both implement and follow pre-existing routines Elka will always ensure that she is offering support in accordance to the parents preferred style. Recognising and understanding the importance of clear and open communication with parents, Elka is always on hand to alleviate their concerns and offer gentle advice and guidance as required. With suburb knowledge on key milestones, Elka loves to engage babies in age appropriate games and activities to encourage all aspects of their development. Praised for her calm and effortless presence, Elka is happy to offer additional support with light housework and parents have greatly appreciated her kind and thoughtful actions to ensure a smooth transition following their baby’s arrival.
