Starting her childcare career in 2000, Fernanda worked as a Nanny for various families providing longevity in bookings and dutifully guiding children and families through each stage of their development. With a growing passion for newborn care Fernanda transitioned to Maternity Nursing in 2013 where she has built a fantastic reputation as a Maternity professional supporting families with single babies throughout the UK.

Favouring a knowledge-based approach, Fernanda utilises her first-hand professional experience in conjunction with theoretical knowledge gained from obtaining the nationally recognised post-natal carer diploma as well as qualifications relating to breastfeeding, sleep training and establishing routine. Confident to advise on a wide range of topics, Fernanda is a fantastic candidate who takes great care to ensure the wellbeing of the baby, mother, and the entire family unit. Instrumental in guiding nursing mothers on the principles of successful breastfeeding, Fernanda can successfully identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.  Highly communicative, Fernanda takes time to listen to parents to establish a structure that compliments the family’s lifestyle and is a true advocate of supporting the bonding process with older children and their new sibling.
