Beginning her Professional Childcare career in 2000, Kat worked as a volunteer in a Primary School and as a Nursery Nurse within a Kindergarten. In 2001, she started working as a Nanny caring for babies and children from the age of 3 months to 8 years old. Taking on her first Maternity role in 2003, Kat has created an amazing CV building on her skills and experience, providing a high level of care, she compliments her first hand practical knowledge with an award as a Maternity Practitioner, alongside several Open University qualifications in childcare and a Bachelor Degree in Psychology. Incredibly adaptable, Kat loves to share her capabilities and proficiency with all families that she supports.
Passionate about early childhood development and showing a true dedication to standing out within her profession, Kat is able to put into practice the very best approaches to supporting developmental milestones and she truly appreciates the importance of providing quality care in the early months and years. Confident in supporting with different styles of routine, to include Gina Ford and Tracy Hogg approaches, she is familiar with Attachment Parenting. Recognising that all babies are individual, Kat prefers to tailor her approach to suit the needs of both infants and parents. Happy to work within, either small or large homes, Kat has also had plenty of practice working within high profile households and has first-hand expertise in implementing discretion within the home.
