With a solid Maternity Nurse and Nanny career, Sofia has extensive knowledge supporting both newborns and older babies and loves roles where she can work with parents to build their confidence.

Starting her career in 2007 as a Daily Nanny in her native Uruguay, Sofia moved to London in 2009 where she worked as a professional Nanny for the next three years. During this time, Sofia gained a wealth of early years first-hand experience caring for newborns, babies and toddlers. It was following these experiences that Sofia decided to take her passion for newborn care further and completed her Post-natal Maternity Nurse skills and Breastfeeding Support Skills training in 2016.

With her solid Nanny background, Sofia has extensive knowledge of all stages of development and when caring for newborns, is naturally inclusive of older siblings and eases anxieties by getting them involved with the care of their new baby brothers and sisters.  With a soft and gentle approach to implementing structured routines, Sofia is happy to lead or take direction and excels in roles where she can support parents and build their confidence. Positive and encouraging with breast or bottle feeding, Sofia has the awareness that each baby is different and will support the parents in the way forward providing advice and assisting as required.
