An amazing Maternity Nurse with professional childcare experience spanning over 30 years, Andrea will share her skills and knowledge gained after supporting new and growing families with newborns and older siblings

Starting her career in 1987, Andrea worked as a professional Nanny for 27 years supporting numerous families in both live in and daily roles.  With first-hand experience supporting children covering a variety of ages, Andrea was keen to expand her knowledge, so she decided to concentrate on Maternity Nurse Roles.  Taking on her first Maternity position in 2014, Andrea has gone from strength to strength and has built an impressive portfolio supporting single babies.  With a passion for keeping up to date in her field, Andrea gained several recognised Maternity Nurse qualifications, including specialising in breastfeeding.

Andrea’s strength is her ability to draw on her vast range of skills allowing her to work with parents to develop successful routines, offering advice  and guidance on feeding and sharing her knowledge regarding developmental milestones.  Andrea is a natural teacher and loves building parent’s confidence she thrives in roles where she can share her extensive awareness and abilities to teach and encourage parents on a range of issues.  Confident and professional, Andrea is an incredibly adaptable and can tailor approach to support both new parents and growing families with older children.  Andrea has a real gift of supporting siblings join in with their new family member and is always willing to support with light household duties.

Andrea is looking for 24 hour positions in the UK or Overseas.
