A professional and passionate Maternity Nurse/Nanny with over 15 years’ experience, Maria has gained extensive knowledge and experience within childcare. Starting in 2003 as a Nanny, Maria realised her passion for working with children and pursued further Nanny roles until early 2016. After completing nationally recognised qualifications in Post Natal care and Breastfeeding Support, she took on her first Maternity Nurse role caring for a newborn for 12 weeks and has continued to have a passion for caring for babies to the present day.

Maria will adapt to each family needs and requirements, whilst dealing with many different situations, remaining calm and flexible, she will provide support, guidance and reassurance to parents through early stages of baby’s life, being able to give advice, encourage and build confidence. Maria has general excellence with her understanding of baby’s development providing stimulating activities, which is perfect for families looking for support past the initial few weeks. Maria’s has gained extensive knowledge whilst working in many different cultures, whilst adapting to routines fitting in with the family lives, either baby led or structured. She will care and assist with breast, bottle feeding and support mothers through early stages of baby’s life, giving her great satisfaction in being able to advise the parents. Her warm personality enables her to build relationships with ease and is a real strength supporting the families she works for, being proactive and hardworking, Maria is always willing to offer additional support with light household duties and takes great pride in offering an excellent level of service.
