Maternity Nurse

A super Maternity Nurse with a vast amount of experience and knowledge gained whilst working within private homes. Yvonne is extremely supportive and incredibly family focused.

A professional Maternity Nurse with an extensive career within childcare spanning over 35 years, Yvonne started her first role in 1981 where she was employed as a Nanny caring for 2 children and has continued supporting families caring for newborns and children up to the age of 14 years old.   In 1998, Yvonne started to work initially as a Nursery Assistant and progressed to completing her Montessori Teacher training whilst in the role, together with working part time as a Nanny until 2001.   After being in Nursery environment for 3 years, Yvonne made a decision to take return to working as Maternity Nurse and Nanny where her passion really shone working within private homes.

Dedicated to her profession, Yvonne will teach and guide new parents with breastfeeding, implementing routines and successful sleeping patterns, together with supporting mums recover after C-section births.  With her understanding and organisation skills, Yvonne will help families with time management so that time can also be spent by parents with any older children and providing advice to help parents improve their skills caring for their babies and children.    Sensitive to the needs of other members of the family, Yvonne will help with older siblings adapting to the new arrival to their home and will always develop a quick bond with newborns.

Yvonne is looking for 24 hour positions in the UK and Overseas.
