A superb Maternity Nurse/Nanny with 35 years of experience within professional childcare, Helen offers a first class level of care to babies and children.  Beginning as a Nanny in 1986 and finalising her NNEB qualification in 1988, Helen has achieved an amazing wealth of knowledge supporting families as a proxy parent and as a pre-school assistant. With a natural interest in caring for children, Helen spent time working as a Foster carer, before focusing solely on Maternity Nursing caring for single and twin babies.  In 2016, Helen completed her Post Natal Maternity Nurse diploma and continues to show her passion whilst sharing her extensive understanding and awareness on all aspects of childcare.

Talented at setting successful routines, Helen is incredibly gifted at building routines to enable parents to continue building good structures throughout childhood. Helen will take the lead to organise around the family lifestyle or work with existing schedules, whilst working together with parents to ensure their requirements are met.  With practical knowledge of managing sibling competition, Helen is adept in encouraging older children in the family to form positive connections with the new sibling.  Valuing her role as a Maternity Nurse/Nanny, Helen’s familiarity shared with her flexible approach to her role will provide families with a high level of support that is valued for future years
