Summary

With a varied career in childcare, A has prospered as a truly kind-hearted and insightful Maternity Nurse. Happy to lead or work with parents on routine, she also offers considerable knowledge in breast and bottle feeding.

A has always had an affinity for being around babies and  children and began her career in 2006 as an early years music practitioner. For ten years she provided interactive musical classes for babies from birth to three years old; using imaginative and creative play to facilitate learning and development. In 2016 A embarked on more personal childcare as a Nanny, Maternity Nurse and doula, and has gone from strength to strength, building her portfolio and gaining varied experience to compliment the formal training she has undertaken. Recently, A has also been volunteering as a birthing doula for vulnerable mums. A is gentle and calm in her approach, helping to guide mums with breast feeding and proactive in finding new solutions and methods. She works in harmony with new parents to tailor an approach to support them and growing families with older children.  A is a natural teacher and loves building parent’s confidence. She thrives in roles where she can share her extensive awareness and abilities to teach and encourage parents on a range of issues.

A is incredibly caring, warm and compassionate, making her so easy to get along with and affable to all.   She is respectful, composed and humble, whatever she doesn’t know, she will find out. A goes beyond her duties to make sure that she is giving the most excellent care to any baby she is caring for. Down-to-earth, well presented and professional, A is a fantastic maternity Nurse who takes great joy and pride in her work. Her excellent references are a true credit to her dedication to her role.
