Summary

‘A’ is an extremely well-qualified governess with a bubbly, warm nature. She is very personable and was a delight to interview. ‘A’ is eloquent and discreet when speaking about previous positions and families, giving the impression that she is a trustworthy and reliable governess. ‘A’ is very easy to get on with, she has great communication skills and, most importantly, children like her and are happy and comfortable in her presence!

 

‘A’ initially trained as a Speech and Language therapist and from there obtained a diploma which qualified her to as a teacher of students with dyslexia so she could support children with both their spoke and their written English. ‘A’ loves learning and then went on to study counselling, another feather to her bow! She has worked in schools, the NHS and privately. Most recently ‘A’ had two temporary positions as a governess with private families. In both cases she worked closely with the other staff, taking sole and shared care of the children and travelling with families, undertaking all governess duties. She is skilled at planning and teaching in the moment, using the child’s interests to promote a learning environment, wherever they are!
