He is a fully qualified and talented chef with over 25 years professional experience. Over the years he has worked in 5* hotels, restaurants, contract catering and in luxury chalets, but it is in private homes where his true passion lies.
He enjoys cooking a wide range of cuisines including traditional British, Mediterranean, Japanese, Asian, Middle Eastern, Russian, and Greek. He is keen to keep developing his knowledge and skills, and therefore will always be buying new cookbooks and taking cooking courses. In 2020 he visited Sri Lanka where he spent a lot of his time doing cooking courses with local chefs. He is confident adapting his menus to fit in with his client’s special diets and allergies and had a great understanding of gluten substitutes. He is also experienced in cooking for vegans and vegetarians and can keep the menu varied and exciting. He enjoys cooking healthy meals and has previously worked with personal trainers, as well as pregnant mothers.
He is happy to adapt his style to fit in with any occasion, including tasting menus, fine dining, or family style. He has catered everything from children’s parties to business lunches.
He is looking for a role where he can showcase his skills and provide excellent food for his employers. He is happy to travel if required and is a confident driver.
