Full Time 24-hour Maternity Nurse

A full time maternity nurse (post-natal carer or baby nurse), will build your confidence as parents.

It can be an wonderful yet overwhelming time settling into a routine with a new baby and a maternity nurse will listen to your requirements and provide you with a bespoke service aimed at supporting you and your newborn at a time when you need it most. Whether you opt for breastfeeding or bottle feeding, a maternity nurse will support your choices. Full time maternity nurses have a wealth of experience to offer to you and can help with feeding (or assisting with), bathing, changing and settling the baby and taking care of the baby’s laundry and nursery.

All our maternity nurses and nannies are experienced with newborn babies. Most will have qualifications such as the MNT or NEST certificates. Often they will have other nanny, nursing or midwifery qualifications as well. Some of our more experienced Maternity Nurses come with no formal qualifications but have to two three years of childcare experience with a minimum of three to four new born experience to offer. We also have paediatric nurses, neonatal nurses, community midwives, health visitors and hospital based midwives who work through us as full time maternity nurses and nightly maternity nurses.

All candidates will have an up to date paediatric first aid certificate and an enhanced DBS disclosure. Maternity nurses usually charge between £140 – £180 per 24 hours gross (for singles),  £180 – £220 per 24 hours gross (for twins), and £220 – £250 per 24 hours gross (for triplets), depending on experience.
